وجه نادي برشلونة الاسباني رسالة علنية وصريحة لنادي مانشستر سيتي وأكد أنه مستعد لبيع المهاجم السويدي زلاتان إبراهيموفيتش في حال قدم النادي الانجليزي عرضاً مناسباً. وبعد الأحاديث الطويلة التي تم تداولها مؤخراً حول مستقبل اللاعب الذي لم يقدم مع برشلونة ما يستحق الاستحسان من قبل الإدارة والجماهير الكتالونية، الصحافة الإسبانية نقلت عن جوسيب ماريا نائب رئيس نادي برشلونة قوله: "قد نبيع إبراهيموفيتش, لكن على سيتي أن يقدم أمواله على الطاولة في أقرب وقت ممكن، وهو ما لم يفعله لحد الآن". يذكر أن إبراهيموفيتش كان قد مثل فريق برشلونة الموسم الماضي في 36 مباراة مسجلاً 21 هدفاً كما أنه يرتبط في سوق الانتقالات كثيراً بنادي الميلان الذى يحاول التعاقد معه على سبيل الاعارة .
